Beauty Therapist

Alura Beauty specialises in providing beauty services such as nails, manicure, pedicure, facial, waxing, massage and more. Due to growing demand across our expanding salon network, we are seeking qualified Beauty Therapists to join our team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assessing clients' skin condition and individual requirements, and providing suitable facial, skincare, and body treatment services, including massage, in accordance with professional standards and client needs
• Performing professional manicure and pedicure services in a hygienic and safe manner consistent with workplace standards
• Delivering beauty and body treatments consistently while ensuring client comfort and satisfaction
• Consulting with clients to explain treatment options, expected outcomes, and aftercare requirements
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, equipment, and products to ensure cleanliness and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintaining accurate client records, treatment notes, and appointment details in accordance with business procedures
• Managing client bookings, enquiries, and appointment schedules as required
• Recommending and explaining appropriate retail products and services in line with business guidelines

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant qualification in beauty therapy (AQF Certificate III or IV or equivalent)
• At least 12 months of relevant full-time work experience in a beauty or wellness setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work weekends or on a rotating roster as required
